Copley's RV, located in Hobe Sound, Florida, was established in 1985 by Oliver and Marilyn Copley. The business began with consignment sales, parts, and service. Oliver and Marilyn did all the sales, sold all the parts and even serviced and cleaned the units themselves. In 1988, we expanded to a new location, adding several employees and increases to our inventory. Today, Copley's RV Center sits on 3½ acres, and has generated over 12 million dollars in sales.
What sets us apart from our competition is the fact that we are, and always have been, family owned and operated. Oliver and Marilyn have the work ethic, patience with customers and the commitment to great service necessary to build a respectable business. Every employee has the same vested interest in the company and its goals as Oliver and Marilyn do. All of these things have been the key factor to building our businesses' reputation to the highest in the recreational vehicle industry.
Fantastic service, great selection, and customer approval are just a few of the benefits we have to offer. Customers feel comfortable as soon as they enter the dealership lobby because of the friendly, family atmosphere. Whether they are looking to buy or to have service done on their motor home, travel trailer, fifth wheel or toy hauler, our employees strive to ensure all of their customers leave happy. We employ a nationally ranked service manager, who leads a great service department, to take care of our customer's service needs. For those looking to buy, a wide selection of motorized and towable motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers from numerous manufacturers are always on-site and offered at extremely competitive and often the lowest, prices. These features and benefits are the reason for Copley's continuing growth.
Customer satisfaction is always an important part of maintaining a successful business. We believe customer satisfaction is only achieved through teamwork. "Management must make every effort to have service, sales, administration, finance, and parts work towards the same goal" states Brian Copley, Sales Manager. "Management ought to be proactive in satisfying customers. This means find the customer with the problem before he finds you - and bring the solution with you. Happy customers are extremely effective advertising; unhappy ones are 10 times as effective - for your competition."
On the advertising side of business Copley's #1 priority is name recognition. Our first goal is putting the Copley name in front of the largest population. To that end, we envision the internet as our next advertising frontier.
Recreational vehicle shows are a great advertising medium for all dealers. Our secret to success at a recreational vehicle show, is securing the largest square footage possible. Prior to any shows, we discount all motor home, travel trailer, fifth wheel and toy hauler inventory to a set "show price", and post that price clearly in windows. We then bring a wide variety of units to the show, offering potential buyers a first-hand look at the bulk of our inventory. We won't let any reasonable deal fall through. When these elements are paired with the Gulf Stream show team's display, the outcome of a show is never disappointing.
As a leader in the RV industry, we have a wealth of knowledge that other dealerships are sure to benefit from. Brian Copley tells us, "selling recreational vehicles means selling recreation! Make it fun and exciting for the customer." Copley also gave us insight on employee attitudes vs. customer satisfaction. He told us, "make sure you're employees enjoy what they do; that translates to happier customers all around." That is great advice for any business owner.
We offer a great selection of Holiday Rambler, Four Winds, Mandalay, Keystone, Starcraft and Crossroads motor homes, travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers, and have a knowledgeable sales staff to answer any of your questions.
